This week’s short story is part two of an original work titled “The Queen.” More parts to come the next few weeks. Stay tuned!

The Queen – Part 2
Staring at the shadow in front of her. Rage inside her, an erupting volcano. She took Viola and ran toward Oliver. With control and rage she swung right towards his chest. “Clang!” His sword matched with hers. Over and under, around and through, rolling on the cold hard grass, they toppled over. As he was on top of her, they both paused as they gazed into each other’s eyes. The same draw as before. Caught off gaurd, she knocked the sword out of his hands and it went flying to other side of the field. They fell over and lay there on the cold hard ground. Exaughsted. Still seething in anger, her eyes started to become blurry as she slowly felt her body becoming paralyzed.
Looking over at Oliver, whose body was paralyzed as well, looking over at each other in that moment, they both realized theyhad been betrayed.
“Poison.”
✨✨✨
Stay Tuned for part 3 later this week!
