This blog and life is about so much more than just surviving, it is about thriving and living in purpose with God. In essence, to be beautifully fulfilled.
He has made everything beautiful in its time
Ecclesiastes 3:11
I started this blog in order to be a source of light and life for others, so that they may grow in beauty and fullness with God, and become who they were meant to be.
I also started it in order to keep myself accountable. I desired to become more of who God was designing me to be. I desired growth, fullness of life, and to find the beauty in the everyday ordinary things. I wanted to explore life and find myself with God and grow in my relationship with God.
I also wanted to share it once I had found it. To be that cup that overflows. I make SURE that whatever I write about comes from a place of genuine authenticity. When I started this blog, I set the precedent that I would only write about and advise on something if I have actually experienced it myself before. I wanted this because I wanted the depth that could only come from going through the difficult, painful things in life brought my way. I wanted a pretty blog, but I didn’t want it to stay on the shallow surface.
True beauty can have a complex, dynamic depth like nothing else.
And so if you’re reading this post, it means I have found beauty and fulfillment in life. it may not be perfect, and it may not come in the packaging that you expect it to. But God has been good to me and continues to be good. Even though I’m always learning and growing, and never perfect, and I never have it 100% figured out, I have started to scratch the surface of what it means to be beautifully fulfilled.
What it Means to be Beautifully Fulfilled:
To be Living in Purpose with God
I’ve gone the roundabout way to find my purpose and find work that fullfills me. And I can say, we all don’t have just ONE big main purpose in our lives that we are destined to fulfill. From my experience, living in purpose means to live each day with God accomplishing each little and major thing He wants to take us through. We are called to have many purposes, roles, and destinies in life. Narrowing ourselves down into one big main thing we are supposed to do in my opinion, is not healthy, nor is it biblical. Yes of course Jesus was called to die on the cross and rise again to new life. But he also was called to heal the sick, to call the chosen, minster to the blind and do so much more that he has done in the Bible and that He’s continuing to do today through people’s lives. Similarly, we are called to be like Jesus, fulfilling everything God calls us to do everyday.
To be Living in Freedom
True freedom I’ve found means not being held back by your own mind and emotions, it means being fully surrendered to God so He can release you from the chains that bind us. Part of releasing those chains means going through some dark painful valleys. But girl it was so worth it to step into abundant joy!! You can find healing through God and so much more! 🥰
A Process of Being and Becoming
Being beautifully Fulfilled has no end only a beginning. It is not about doing so much as BEING and BECOMING who God designed you to be. It is a process of letting love in to transform you and trusting that you are who and where you’re meant to be. Being beautifully fulfilled is always evolving, so is the definition itself.
I pray you find and become beautifully fulfilled yourself, friend!!
With Love,
Cherie 💜
