Trying to lose weight and be healthy, but have a sweet tooth? Me too, girl! Check out my recipe for easy healthy chocolate crescent rolls that only take 10 minutes or less – prep and cool time included! They take less than 10 minutes to prepare, bake and cool, AND they don’t have a lot of calories, either. Plus, you have complete control over all the ingredients inside as well. I call that a win-win-win!
10 minute 2 Ingredient Chocolate Crescent Rolls
With your choice and control of how much chocolate goes into these, you’ll satisfy your sweet tooth and your waistline in just 3 easy steps! Jesus wants us to take care of ourselves, but He doesn’t want us to deprive ourselves of sweet blessings (unless you’re fasting of course. Read more about the benefits of prayerful fasting) – everything in balanced moderation 😊
Ingredients
- Crescent Rolls – any kind
- Your choice of chocolate – I like the Good & Gather chocolate chunks from Target (not sponsored, just really like these – delicious, healthy and cheap!)
Step 1 – Prepare the Baking Sheet
Place the parchment paper on a baking sheet and turn your oven on to 350 F.
Step 2 – Prepare the Crescent Rolls
Roll out the crescent rolls. For mini ones you can cut them in half. (scissors or a knife works!) Now, you’ll have mini triangles for mini crescent rolls. Add just a few chocolate chunks at the big end of the triangle. Roll them up and pinch shut. Fill and roll up all the triangles into mini crescent rolls. Usually, the crescent rolls I get come with 8 in a pack, so after cutting them in half I’ll have 16!
Step 3 – Bake
Bake in the oven for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown. Once you pull them out, place them on a pot-holder on the oven to cool. Let them cool down for 2 minutes.
Enjoy! 😛
If you want a little extra sweetness, you can sprinkle ground cinnamon, honey, or caramel syrup. If you want to avoid those calories you can skip this extra step. Once they’re cool You can place them on a plate to serve, or enjoy them right off the baking sheet!
Yum! This is my go-to easy quick sweet treat recipe!
Enjoy!
